  41. Episode: 22-003
This episode features the Symphonic Band's annual Sounds of Broadway concert, directed by John Iannotta on March 16, 1974. I am not sure who recorded this, it came from a cassette tape in my personal collection. Note that this recording includes Lassus Trombone by Henry Fillmore. Some of Fillmore's music has been abandoned in the 21st century due to having been composed shortly after 1900 for minstrel shows. Lassus is included here as a historical artifact.

  46. See more LHS info here, but this podcast shows all available recordings (I have a few more cassettes to rip, but no imminent plans). Voice tracks were recorded with a Tascam DR-07 MK II Linear PCM Recorder (oh, if only we had something like this in the '70s). Tracks mixed with Audacity. History: version 1 of this web page (January 25, 2022) started with an RSS file (a specially constructed file with links and names and such), and a second file to "transform" the data into something readable as a web page. However, the browser (whether on a PC or phone) still sees the file as an RSS file, and iPhones won't display an RSS file directly (a separate app is required). So, iPhones did not work when starting with data and transforming it. The solution (February 7, 2022) was to start with a displayable web page, and under the hood read in the RSS file. The RSS file is still the same and can be used for podcatcher apps like Apple Podcast (or you can just use my web page). On February 18, 2022, a menu was added to filter on an ensemble name (such as "Orchestra"). I finished uploading the MP3s on February 27, 2022.
